We start with a blank canvas and provide an analysis of how to layout all of the basic components of the seascape.  We show you how to simply plan out what you're going to paint.  Then step-by-step we will paint the sky, the clouds, the sea, the shore and all of the elements of the seascape just so you will learn not only how to paint all of these elements, but how to construct your own painting with your own design.

At the end of the video, you will have painted a beautiful painting, but more than that, you'll have all of the fundamental information you need to sit down, design your own seascape.  Lay out the oils and go for it.

This is an excellent video in which beginners can learn the basic techniques even if they've never painted before, or even so much as held a paint brush.  It is on DVD-R and is over 2-hours long.  It assumes the student has had no previous knowledge or experience in its instruction.

On the DVD, it does say its the first of two disks on the basics of seascapes.  However, due to the ever improving technology of disk video, we are now able to contain the entire two hours onto a single DVD.
